The Boardwalk & Casino
The Boardwalk is one of Port Elizabeth’s favorite places to visit. The Boardwalk is a great destination for entertainment, be trying lady luck at the casino, dining at a restaurant, having a drink at one of the pubs or seeing the latest movie at the cinema. It is also a great place to walk through during the day if you are looking for retail therapy. It is basically on the beach in the centre of Port Elizabeth’s tourist hub, perfectly located to form part of a great day out.
Bayworld Oceanarium & Snake Park
The Oceanarium is offering a variety of live animal displays. There are dolphins, seals, penguins, fish, as well as snakes and crocodiles. You can also visit the natural and cultural history exhibit of shipwrecks, dinosaurs and many others.

The South End Museum
When visiting the South End Museum, it will etche deep into your hearts and soul the mistakes of the past. Through cultures, challenges, victories and tragedies of those who experienced apartheid, the museum highlight the times and tribulations of the South End. The tour starts off as to how it was like living in the south end. The focus is on the community, religion and education of the people together with sport and social live. The Museum evokes the close family bonds and focus on the social interactions enjoyed by the South End locals during the apartheid years.
The Red Location Museum
The Museum is situated in New Brighton on the corners of Singaphi and Olaf Palm streets. Renowned local political icons are displayed on the concrete pillars along the length of the museum. The museum is remembering the past in the nations memory, through portraying the horrors of institutionalized racism and heroic efforts of the anti-apartheid movements.

Climbing Wall
11 Metres of pure adrenalin! The climbing wall is an excellent activity for young & old. Our Climbing wall is fully mobile and is attached to a trailer. We elevate it with hydraulic shocks. The wall is suitable for all ages and any occasion. Two people can climb at once, and the wall can be used to incorporate various games ranging from team tag, blindfolded races, maze climbing etc.
Venues: Ladies slipper, only 30km’s from PE; and Masakhane Cliffs in the Baakens Valley, Port Elizabeth
Paintball
Paintball is an adrenalin rush like nothing else, that can be different every time you play. This awesome all weather activity is enjoyed by small and large groups old different ages. If strategy games get your heart pounding, then this one is for you.
Horse riding
A ride on one of nature’s most beautiful creatures is a must if you love being around the enigmatic horse. It might either be for relaxation or just the thrill of cantering along the beach with the wind in your hair!!
There is two choices of experience you can choose from which include:
- A Beach ride is a scenic 2 ½ hour ride through Sardinia Bay Nature Reserve, after which you can enjoy a relaxing ride on the beautiful beach.
- The Trail ride is a one hr ride which goes through the Nature Reserve.
Shark Cage Diving
Our shark cage diving is done in crystal clear water no deeper than six metres. April to September is the best time of the year to do shark diving. As many as 18 sharks has been seen on some of the outings, but most of the time there is four or five swimming around the cage. The water temperature vary between 15˚ to 20˚ C. We let the divers take turns in the cage for a time of between 15 to 20 minutes. A average visibility of between 4m to 6m, but on a clear day it may exceed up to 15m. On occasion the sharks do brush against the cage, but no attacks on the cage have been reported as to date.
Whale & Dolphin watching
A possible encounter with schools of 50 to 400 bottlenose Dolphins can be experienced during this breathtaking adventure. Dolphins breed right through the year, and it is always possible that you will see a calve or two with the adults. At Bluewater bay area, you may see Bryde’s whales between June/July, during the Oct/Dec season Humpback whales, and between June/October Southern right Whales.
Helicopter flights
We offer 3 choices of helicopter rides. Our Robinsin R44 takes three passengers excluding the pilot, and will guarantee a fun filled adventurous way to get you to your destination.
- Soar over the breathtaking coastline of Port Elizabeth’s Algoa Bay / Cape Recife / J-Bay and Woody Cape (bird island) for 15 Minutes.
- Flying over the Addo Elephant Park, home to the first “Big Seven”, you will spot a densest population of the elephant, along with Lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, etc. Along the coastline you can spot Great White Sharks & Southern Right Whales, cruising in the water.
- You will feel like a falcon experiencing the bush, and feeling the heart of Africa when flying over the mountains situated in the Shamwari & Schotia game reserves.
Kite boarding
The best time / season to do kite boarding is between September and April, although you can do it right through the year. The water is nice and warm right through the year with winds of 12kts to 30kts in our summer season. Our average kite sizes is between 10m to 14m & cater for all styles of riders.
