Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth, or the friendly city as it is affectionately known is a city bursting with opportunities. PE’s location is very fortunate in that it is both the entrance to the Sunshine coast West wards as well as a gateway to the Garden Route to the West. There is also an abundance of South African culture and history here that is waiting to show itself. Within the city itself a day can be easily lost retracing footsteps of the apartheid era. Port Elizabeth’s townships, particularly New Brighton, acted as crucibles during the struggle, and hence the erection of the Red Location Museum of the People's Struggle. This monument is the winner of three international awards and will deepen your appreciation of what PE attractions
